We are going to attend Broadlands over the August bank holiday weekend and there will be a MRC club stand there for Sunday & Monday. We have our stand next to the RX-8 OC to increase the rotary prescence.
This is a really laid back event and not just another "Jap Show". The Largest Motoring Event on the South Coast. Thousands of classic cars - veteran vehicles - commercial classics and buses - military vehicles - American cars - classic bikes - car clubs - custom cars, sport cars and much, much more...
If you wish to attend and park on the club stand in your Rotary, then you will need a stand pass. Last date for sending out passes will be Wednesday 22nd August. Please email me or PM me if you require a pass to be sent. Please ensure you give me your full name and add details not just your username.

hi, sorry but dont know where to ask this question, asked donnington park today and they said that they dont have a listing for the japfest show there- can anyone confirm if there is a japfest this year and when/where it is?. many thanks jon.

I have just checked //www.japfest.co.uk and there is no mention of Japfest II at Donnington so I assume that have decided not to go there this year.
I will remove it from the MRC calender.

Surely we can all learn from the minor mistake that occured last year and make sure it doesn\'t happen again:cheers I would like make an appearance and i think you should bring your car as well:D You never know your car might be choosen for next years gallery;) :cool

Hi All,
After the club\'s busy Rotorstock event, this weekend (Bank Holiday
weekend) sees the next official Mazdarotaryclub event at Broadlands in
Romsey, near Southampton, which is a direct contrast to Rotorstock because
this really gives any car enthusiast a laid back relaxed Sunday and Monday
event.
If you love anything with wheels on then this event is for you with all
enthusiasts catered for from our own Japanese marques and many others to
military, to super cars, to custom cars, to bikes, indeed if its got
wheels on its there.
Also all the time you are there you will be entertained with a live arena
and at times air displays above making this an ideal family event for the
club.
If you would prefer to just park on the stand and have a "different" day
out with the wife and children then don\'t forget the event is held in the
beautiful grounds of Lord Louis Mountbatten\'s home and you can walk around
the stately home if you wish.
In addition to the above there will be Over 90 club stands / Trophy
presentation for all classes for exhibitors exhibiting both days / Free
live entertainment to all exhibitors on Sunday night (heated marquee) Cars
for sale section / An enormous section of Autojumble / Huge craft marquees
/ 100s of trade stands / 1st class arena programme / Air displays / New
super car section / Catering for all tastes.
On Sunday evening the club will be holding a free BBQ but please mail us
if you are staying so we know the numbers we are catering for so we can
organise the food and drink.
If you wish to show your car on the club stand then you will get in for
free as you will be part of the show however you will need to contact
lisa@mazdarotaryclub.com or PM her club for a pass to be sent to you.
Closing date for a pass is Tuesday 22nd August in order that you receive
the pass in time.

The show starts at 9am till 5pm, if you park on the club stand; you will
be expected to stay until 5,00pm as the organisers do not want vehicles
driving around the public area, where people are walking by.

It looks like the weather is going to be really good - so if you fancy a laid back easy event - then come down to Broadlands, just outside Southampton.
I need to know buy tonight if you need a stand pass in order that I can post first class tomorrow.

lovely weekend, so relaxed and plenty to see and do. Thanks again to Clive and Lisa and to all the others that turned up. One for my calender for next year without a doubt.

Great laid back weekend, lots of sunshine, and all types of cars through the years, some very nice Ford GT40s. Amazing amount of autojumble for vintage where do they keep finding these bits, hope this is on next years list, and as already said lots of interest in the RX7, quite a few people asking questions and considering buying one.

looks like it was a good event, shame I couldn\'t make it, but Reading Festival was on! :)
