Title: Suspension problems
Post by: Shiuko on August 15, 2007, 12:54:04 AM
I\'ts £500 a realistic amount to pay for changing the pillowball bushes in my car? (Parts included)

How many pillowball bushes there are in mi car?
I was told by a RX7 specialist that there are 12, 6 in each side.

Obviously, I don\'t know a lot about cars, and I got the funny feeling that somebody wants to take me for a ride.(http://www.fduk.org/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Am I being paranoid?(http://www.fduk.org/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)

I\'ve founded a set of 6 new pillowball bushes for 137.54 shipped in here:

Seems like a good idea?

Whats the difference between the Powerflex bushes and Superpro\'s ones?
Thanks and sorry for asking so many questions, but I\'d rather learn from someone\'s experiences and/or mistakes than from my own. (Works out cheaper)

What Gary said. I wish people would post on one or the other and let people reply before cross posting on both!

I do know that Rotaryart have the poly suspension bushes, but at the moment I\'m more interested on the pillowball bushes and I\'ve founded them for £137 for a set of 6, and thats too good to pass on it, thats why I was asking for your opinion in the link that I\'ve posted before.

I do know about Rotaryart, I\'ve just bought the rad and ast caps from them, and they were at my door after just a couple of days, so I\'ll be buying the Poly bushes from them as well. By the way, whats the difference between the performance and the motorsport bushes?

I don\'t see anything wrong in posting in two diferent forums because I\'m asking to different people to get as many opinions as I can. I don\'t only get in this two forums, I\'ve got and account in a Latinoamerican forum, and a Spanish one as well.
It\'s it wrong to post in those forums  as well to get even more ideas, opinions and information about my car? It\'s not my fault that you decide to have an account in both MRC and FDUK, so if you don\'t want to help me, it\'s fine by me, but I don\'t see the point in posting " posted in somewhere else " (unless you tell me that we all got an account in MRC and FDUK):Tongue1

I don\'t mean to be rude, I\'m just telling what I think, so if you think that it\'s wrong to post in two DIFFERENT forums, please explain why.

Thanks

Hi
The Motorsport are harder material so will give a stiffer ride, performance is made more for fast road and a bit softer.
Saying that, there are 2 bushes that are not available in performance as they would be too soft, details are on my site as to which is available.

Thanks for that, I\'ll be buying the stiffer ones then.
Just waiting on my tax return, and I\'ll buy then along with the engine and diff solid mounts.
What engine and diff mounts do you have available in your webpage?
Thanks
