looks like i may be putting a few threads in the 2nd generation section after picking up an FC:yes :King
Its a 1992 GTX and it has 54k miles on the clock
Im not convinced that the turbo is running right (another story) but other than that I bloody love it:InLove
Its going to be my daily drive so i need to keep it in good health and make it reliable (yes i know it a rotary:rolleyes: )
So if i:
Change to oil, plugs. Maybe fuel filter.
Just wondered if its worth getting things done like injectors cleaned and more in depth stuff. Or can i relax and just enjoy the drive to and from work??
Its booked in this week to get the underneath waxoiled.
Hope i have many trouble free miles with the little fella.
Regards Andy.
Looking through the paperwork last night, and it was actually registered in AUG 1991:rolleyes:
But also found that it is registered as a 1.3:Party :Party :Laugh
Cheap tax for you then :) :)
a 1991 - so its a J plate then
so not a 1992 - shame that - a 1992 would have made it MEGA rare
you got the boost gauge sorted yet ?
Quoteyou got the boost gauge sorted yet
Not yet Stu, ive seen the thread on here tho, and ive asked for a pic. Thanks matey, I just thought it would be easier to find one in a holder, theres one or two im keeping my eye on on ebay.
i put mine into a holder and stuck it by the idiot lights
have a look my website for a pic of how my dash looked ( under my cars section )
Seen it Stu, my my my you do have a lot of gauges:rolleyes: , where can i get a holder thing from? demon-tweeks?
Ive already started the modding, got a short shift coming from amerikaye, and about to order a lip spoiler and vented headlight cover from a place in Australia.
I do love the car, maybe a few to many dents but i can live with that i think. Its got personality:Laugh :Laugh :InLove
Dont worry Stu, found a holder on good ole Ebay.:Ladys-man
i HAD a lot of gauges - thats the coupe that i sold :(
all the gauge holders were hand made from some left over 1mm plate and a 52mm hole cutter ( and lots and lots of filing ! )
