what is the benefit of a welded diff??? ((I feel like I should know this...))

great for rallying if you a dam good driver, get no wheel spin when going round corners but it gets the backend round with both wheels spinning at same time. Did this on a BMW once for rallying and wished i\'d kept it standard. takes a fair bit to get used to it and certainly no good on the road.
