ive been in three cars that have fallen off the road with nangkangs, not the ones you have mentioned though so they wouldnt be my choice. Didnt find them very good in the damp.

My 8 inch fronts and rears with ET35 offset rub a bit front and back using 235/35/19 lowered on tein springs, it is pretty damn low on the front though.

mine is not lowered at all so might b allright-might save up the extra pennies and get f1s then, had these on my gt turbo and were s*&!t hot in wet and dry.

I\'m wheel shopping at the mo and evey one i talk too says 36 will fit but at the limit of the stock lip (any lower would need rolling) as your looking at 1mm lower you shouldn\'t have a problem but if you do just roll the Lips slightly.

for an example of lowest off sets you can run have a look on here (the Zip on the first post)  http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=416251

I have Blitz techno Z1 19" rims  10.5" rear and 9" front.

I had to roll the arches coz I\'ve lowered the car but the offset normally
used with these type rims on the FD is 45.

Tyre size on mine is 275/30/19 on rear and 265/30/19 on the front.

Nangkangs are ok but they won\'t last too long, if you can stretch to Eagle F1\'s then do so as I\'ve had them on for about two years now and am sure I can get a third year out of them. Normal price for the rear F1 was around £260 each from Micheldevers.

Sorry to but in a bit but Dave how do you find running such wide tyres at the front?

It has been said that it will make the steering heavy on Turn in (when you are moving and the PS is off)

It would be interesting to hear your Opinions as you have them fitted.

Cheers
Chris

I actually find it really good at handling together with the Tein flex kit.

I will be at TRAX (Silverstone), running with them on, not the ideal track tyre I know but she handles like a dream (I\'ll even have all five gears this year) lol.

How do you find them in the wet?

I only ask because i\'ve just bought a set of SSR rims and there 9.5" all round, i was planning on going smaller up fromt but if it works i\'ll put something like 255\'s all round.

Never had an issue in the wet with the Eagle F1\'s they are just sooooo good.

The only other thing I\'d do is get the four wheel alignment done and ask them to have 1 degree toeing in on the front, this will create better handling and will eliminate most tramlining, and it WON\'T ruin the tyres on the inner edges either.
