I originally purchased my rex in june from newera and finally it has arrived in the country! Gareth at newera has been an absolute diamond with my constant barrage of phonecalls, emails and texts etc. He has called me today to tell me if the registration docs come back in time i\'ll have the car by next weekend!!! I was pretty shocked as i had been given an estimation for end of Aug! In the two weeks it will have to have some minor damage removed, resprayed side panel (keyed), rear diffuser fitted, mot\'d, remapped for uk fuel etc. so they really must be going like the clappers. All credit to the guys at newera, they have made my time really easy as this is the first time i have had a car imported like this. Hopefully all being well i\'ll be driving my lovely new car next weekend!

Hey, what kind of intake is that? Looks like some kind of burnt titanium mesh wish a foam filter. Never seen it before, looks very cool.
Nice RX-7. You lucky guys over there can import newer FD\'s. My FD has the old style front end and lights. Working on a \'99 spec upgrade.
^RE Amemiya intake mate. Unfortunately they are now discontinued.
Also we cant import any rx7 younger than 10 years, so where still unable to import official 99 spec ones..... well we can but we just cant register them! :(
Yeah, mine is a 95 but it has the FEED Bumper and integrated light system, which just means you can have the front side lights as your dipped headlights, that way you don\'t have to use the popups unless you need main beam.

I know how you feel mate - you must be getting impatient, but you\'ve not got too long to wait now! I bought my Supra through Newera and they do a super job. Miguel\'s a top guy... No reason to look anywhere else, in my opinion :)
Looks like you\'ve got a real nice RX there with some very tasteful mods, and I\'m sure it\'ll live up to your expectations. My Supra\'s sold now, so I\'ll be getting an RX through Newera - although it won\'t be until early next year! So I really will be going crazy by then!! I can\'t wait!

The car is currently being painted to clean away any scratches etc. Phoned the DVLA about the registration and they said it takes 48 hours which is good news, hopefully the docs will arrive tomorrow. Maybe if the DVLA pull their finger out i\'ll have it by Friday.
