Firstly sorry if this has been asked before but i couldnt find anything particular to my query.
I want to remove the limiter from my rx7, not that i would go more than 112mph but its nice to know it could blow past that if needs be. Now ive got an Apexi and commander fitted which as i understood removed the limiter but its still there. I know the wire that needs to be snipped (Green with a RED stripe, lowest multiplug) and will be snipping if needs be, but was wondering if anyone knew why the limiter was even still there?

apexi delimits the car as the ecu controls this.

this is what i understood, but the car is definately still limited (have hit that limit a few times) with the noticable fuel cut.
this leaves me wondering if the Apexi has a setting somewhere to keep the limiter in place.
not that i am aware of. mine was 100% there then 100% not.
are you sure you arent just getting a fuel cut because it cant fuel your mods or boost creep/spike?
the car is practically unmolested only mods being the apexi, and a blitz back box. Its a 96 so later model, dunno if that would make any difference.
boost is fairly standard to when it was mapped, 0.92 me thinks. although highest on the commander ive seen is 0.88
injector duty isnt particularly high either from what i can remember
found the wire, unless i can find or unless someone knows why this is how it is itll get snipped
Well its snipped, and.....well.....WOW.
she was quick before but i just couldnt stop the huge grin on my face as she just kept going fastaer and faster. not just top end either but all the way through the range :3gears-rh
