hi welcome to the club and must say i drove to salzberg in austria and thought it was a fabulous drive and the people there made me very welcome and were very interested in my yellow and white fd.

Also the drive isnt as far as i thought probably because driving to the algarve in portugal was twice as far from england so hope you can make it next year to rotorstock.

Can i ask your motor sounds sweet with the mods you\'ve done how do you find the attention in austria and where about\'s in austria are you?

Again welcome:cool

hi i come from Leutasch in Tyrol, its 1,5 hours west from salzburg.
in austria we have i think only 7-8 Fd3s i know, most people drive bmw or vw here :)
If you come near to austira you can visit me.

next year we sure come to rotorstock, take a week holiday and have a nice time.

The engine sounds bad, running quite round at 1250rpm idle with the port.
it´s not the problem to get the parts to austria but its very expensive because of the shipping costs and the tax.

James

PS: I was in your beautiful country around Easter this year ..... wonder if you recognize the location. ......... took a wrong turning in the hire car but at least there are no traffice wardens up there :)

hi drftr^^

Yes thats my car:InLove

the car was build up by feed, and run in japan as a drift car. i get it from england in not good conditions, (clutch was done, paint was ugly made, etc..). the car was very much build back to stock (stock fuelpump, seats, wing, breake system,  intercooler, etc....).
but i saw a very good potential in the car and spend lot of money and time in it and build it new up, i think its now a very good street car.
next week comes my feed carbon door handels, and i orderd a quaife (greddy) 6 gear  gearbox but i don´t know when i get it.

My other fd, get a feed wide body kit, full done engine, t-88 turbo kit, etc.. that fd goes as my drag car. The engine get build up by www.der-tuner.com (http://www.der-tuner.com) its a very good friend of mine

btw: i abuse the wind screen whiper water pump to get some water in front of my VMIC, it don´t bring much but its a cheap methode to take the intake air down.

where did you get it from and how much mate? ive looked at some but none as well built as that. how was fitting?
Title: another fd3s from austria
Post by: justFD3s on August 13, 2007, 06:45:08 PM
i bought it directly from d2 racing.

http://www.d2racing.com/html/brakes.html (http://www.d2racing.com/html/brakes.html)

the e-brake costs 300usd
i´m realy happy with it. from d2 i bought my big break kit (front 8 pod, rear 6 pod both 356mm discs), 6 point H-Belts and my carbon bucket seats. the products are very very high quality.

Post by: justFD3s on April 05, 2008, 05:56:04 PM
thx, the silver one is my treasure and i put all my time and money in it :)

the 2nd one (http://mitglied.lycos.de/patrickneuner00/Efini/ (http://mitglied.lycos.de/patrickneuner00/Efini/)) is still in build, i hope that i can finish him spring next year.
whats missing is a black paint job and a ported engine with t88 turbo.
he´s going to be my good locking tuning FD, not a pure race-machine like the silver one :)
