Title: Extended Warranty On A 1993 - 100,000+ Chassis Mileage RX7 FD?!?
Post by: Tiger_kpt on August 03, 2007, 12:31:31 PM
I\'m sure I have seen and heard people talking about this before on here. But cannot seem to find anything.

Do any of you guys use or recommend an extended warrenty group for the RX7 FD\'s?

What i\'m after and am meaning is KIND of like insurance but for mechanical, electrical faults, etc on a vehicle which leads to major repair work (not general maintenance or servicing.

When something goes wrong... you put a claim in with them, they reimburse you for the full amount or up to an agreed value towards parts and labour.

And you will most likely pay a premium each year to be part of this insurance / warranty.

Hopefully you guys know what i\'m on about and can point me in the right direction of decent companies which offer this and which you have had good experiences with or heard good things about.

Cheers all.

Brittania Rescue offers something like this for £35 per year. Only covers unmodified parts though. Limit is £500 per claim. There are no age/mileage exclusions.

I\'m with them for their recovery service but haven\'t taken up the mechanical insurance.

im a service manager at a car dealership.  these things aint worth the paper they are written on half the time..but i would recommend autoprotect.  these are the only people i havent had problems with.
