What times did people set today:3gears-rh
James ran a 10.7 with a sh*t 0-60ft, on his next run he snapped a rear drive shaft. God that boy is good. RESPECT.:King
What did you run John?
I only ran 13\'s dead, my heart just wasn\'t in the launch and thats what did it for me. You have to be in the zone and nail it everytime. My old 0-60 ft times were always 1.6ish not in the same class as James with 1.5\'s. Today they were 2.8 +, It doesn\'t take much working out. one tenth on launch is worth two tenths off your time at the end so 1.2 x 2 = 2.4. 13 - 2.4 = 10.6.
I could come up with lots of things notraction etc etc etc, but what it all comes down to is my heart wasn\'t/isn\'t in it anymore. So having found that out I can now concentrate on the track skills and have days of fun instead of just a few seconds and lots of waiting around.
James first run was 10.774 with a cr*p 0-60 ft due to no traction on a poor preped strip he dropped the trye pressure for his second run to compensate, second run fantastic launch and then he snapped a drive shaft due to the fact they had to put glue down due to a 106 leaking all over the strip.. and his tyre pressure was too low. Enough said.
Her Royal Hogness and I will be fully behind James shouting and screaming him on at RS4 just as we were at 10 of the Best. Go James Go.
I was a bit surprised to see you run a 13.0, John. Having said that, they held you on the lights for like 5 seconds when I was watching.
I ran a 13.5 that I was happy with, just need to get my launches right, bit of a lottery at the moment. Can anyone comment on the splits below as I have no idea what it all means!
60ft - 2.15
