I am having the clutch replaced this wednesday, and was wondering what gearbox oil should i use? i performed a search and found that "synthetic works very well in these boxes" (quote)
and also what grade?
thanks in advance
Shaq
anyone know ?
:(
Shaq
Sorry, missed this one.
I have just changed the gearbox and diff oil to Redline MT-90. Looking back I would have gone for the Heavy Duty stuff from Redline, as the way we drive these cars is not easy.
Dan
Fish,
Cool, is this gearbox oil synthetic ? is that good?
what stuff do you recommend me buy and where would i be able to purchace it from?
thanks in advance
Shaq
Yo Shaq
Bren off the 200 forum sells redline stuff, yes it is synthentic, my mate in his 200 swears buy it
Mark,
Thanks i will give them a buzz, i havent driven my car since 24 of dec. when the clutch went ! soo annoying ! :(
hows your car ? saw the filters on another post looks sweet ! :D
ShaQ
ran redline but still found minor shavings upon drainin....
neo provides for smoother shiftin..
a tad bit longer to warm up than redline..

Hi,
just use synthetic for gearbox and diff. I use any brand, them just should be conform to Mazda specs.
