Glad to see you still have your RX Fletcher! Am in two minds about mine at the moment. Have it advertised everywhere at the moment for sale. But gone and bought a new brake set-up and coilover kit for it today.
We shall see.

:Laugh

Sorry to be OT: Are you two (Tiger and Fletcher) coming to the JapMids meet at Cotes on Sunday? Happy to convoy if so (I\'m in Chilwell). :)

Would be a good chance to tout the car if you are selling it...

Dude... when I took my car to Pip\'s for that major tuning session (when you came)... I took it with a brand new Greddy 1.3bar coolant pressure cap on it. Remember what he said??? And that Race spec (stupid pressure) Pettit Racing AST cap on.

"Take those bloody things off!"

I asked why... and his answer was basically... "do you want to blow your engine water seals out???"

Lucky I had them on for a week maximum... and during that time was driving her mildly - due to the Apexi needing mapping. Otherwise, I would have done the same thing dude.

A standard 0.9bar one is the way to go. On both mate. Just realised you have the two Apexi ones on. BET that they are the 1.3bar versions!

Willing to bet that it was them that has screwed your seals up.

Just told me you\'re selling her. I\'d keep and repair. As Carl said... £400 fix. And scrap the Apexi caps and return to standard!

OK, these are the details: http://www.japmids.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1248

It\'s about half an hour to get there, basically down the A52 and the A60, so we could meet at 11.30am in the Beekeeper pub car park?

(I think I mean the Beekeeper - the one on the crossroads just past Chilwell Olympia as you head towards Beeston!)
