cheap
.
I really wanted to know if anyone has had experience with cheap filters and compared relative performance with expensive filters (£150+) because if I could spend just £30 and get the same performance that can\'t be a bad thing?
Can\'t see the link but my advice would be not to mess with cheap parts. We all know how temperamental these engines can be.
Why not just wait til these rich guys buy a new expensive one then after a few thousand miles get board and flog it at half it\'s value. :D
hi mate, i have some bomz racing ones you can have for a low price, they are new too! and polished.

I cant see the link either but I\'ve spent a lot of time on here trying to decide myself. IMO unless you get a good kit you may aswell stay stock.
You have two main considerations..
A cone kit will over come the problem with the stock box giving disturbed air, if you think of the path the stock takes it bounces all over the place, which is not good.
Now you have to balance this up against sucking in warm air from your engine bay via a cone filter. This now goes into the realm of a decent / cheap air induction kit. They both suck in warm air, but can they allow a significant increase to balance up the sucking in of warm air over the stock box?
