Title: what power fc do I need?
Post by: wee_blim on July 27, 2007, 01:33:45 AM
I have a 93 spec fd, I know I need the 92-95 power fc, which is the 8-bit version. But is there a way of telling what one I need by the model number? Or perhaps some other way of telling by something astheticly?

Cheers :)

8 bit and 16 bit cars have different connectors on the engine loom, one has 3 connectors, the other has 4 - from recollection the early ones have 4...

All power fc\'s are 16 bit regardless of what model it\'s for. It\'s only the stock ecu\'s which are either 8 or 16 bit depending on age. The one you need is 414AZ004. That is the latest model with the base mod map. I got mine from here which was the cheapest place on earth at the time http://www.nengun.com/apexi/power-fc-hand-controller
