Well, after lurking on here for a couple of years I finally decided to take the plunge and bought my first RX7 from Gary Gooding (top bloke). Link to piccies below on the for sale thread:

http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37355 (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37355)

She\'s pretty much stock with a Mazdaspeed catback, K&N filter and Apexi PFC mapped to 255 rwhp. Just had it comp tested and it\'s high 7\'s - low 8\'s all round :chat :InLove

Looks clean enough to eat your dinner off and drives very well. Need to sort the rear bushes at some point but there\'s always something :Giggle

All I\'ve got to do now is learn how to drive the bloody thing properly (track tuition at Thruxton coming up soon). Won\'t be using those little turbos much in the current weather...:Hammer

See y\'all at Rotorstock :Thumbs-up :guinness

Chris.

Hi AtomicRex,

I\'d love to do that and may well be in touch in the near future... Thruxton is only about 10 miles closer to me, so it makes no odds really.

My other half bought me a session in one of the ex-Formula Woman RX8s, hence the Thruxton trip. I\'m not looking to do too much track work initially; what I need are some airfield type days to learn how to safely handle a quick rear wheel drive car. I was always assuming it would take me a while to get to grips with this, so I\'m just taking my time... :)

Cheers,

Chris.
