Title: Newbie in Deep trouble Help Needed
Post by: devil200 on July 25, 2007, 04:11:23 PM
Hi All,

Hope somebody can asisst, after years of owning M\'s I brought myself a 1993 UK spec FD, Red on Black. She is loved more than the wife, then it all changed nearly four weeks ago.

I only had her 3 days and the clutch packed up. I have brought a new clutch, stock , but tried to but a Lightened Flywheel unsuccesfully off ebay. Despite being told to hang on and on, I still have no flywheel, and no refund.

I urgently need to buy a flywheel, as I need to get this back on the road. Do any of you guys know who would stock this items?

Thanks,

I\'m sure some of the vendors at the top of the page would be able to help, have you tried ringing around?

Cheers,
Alex

What happened to your old flywheel? Or are you just buying a lightened flywheel? Im sure you will have some sort of buyer protection as long as you paid via paypal. What exactly happened? does the clutch slip or drag? Did the pedal goto the floor?

Guys,

I tried most of the above, this issue you have is delviery times , nobody keeps this in stock 3-4 weeks? for delivery.  The old flywheel is warped hence why  i thought about getting a light version. I wish i didnt even bother now.  Im still being told by this company to hang on every day, but this could be ongoing for another two months.  Guess Ive got to play the waiting game.

The car must have had some serious abuse to warp the flywheel. All i can say really is to look inthe for sale section because folks are always selling bits or breaking cars on here.
