has some nice bits on, just a shame about the bodykit. namingly the front bumper.
bet it sells for a bit more than the current bid price tho lol
saw it at the fast show at santa pod this year. The owner was adament it was the latest Veilside show car but others pointed out variuous parts that arent veilside and begged to differ. after a few laughs it got a bit argumentative as i remember.
Looks nice though just not to my taste.
has been on e-bay for a little while but i like it but i would say that though because mine has a veilside kit on it.be interesting to see what it will go for i am watching it in my e-bay.
im saying around the 5-5.5K mark lol
Its a bit love it/hate it tho and IMHO the flip paint is a bit dated now (**ducks the flames**)

i prefer this one the colour is much nicer-as you say that type of paint is well out!!!i am surprised that didnt sell bit of a bargain.
surely if whaleside truly did build that car then they wouldn\'t have used an re-amemiya rear light cover, and rear diffuser. that would be advertising for a competitor...even if it was a true show car, its still ugly imho.

mate i dont want to speak out of tone but i am certain those comments escalated into an argument with the owner and then people just thought he was a bit of a chav by his behavior.
there are more competitor parts on that than you know! if i remember right it even has bright blue grey mazdaspeed seats the ones with mazdaspeed written the length of em! :rollin

Knew i\'d seen that car before! The owner came and asked me how much i though it was worth. He said it was the latest Veilside showcar and had a recent rebuild but no proof.He thought it was worth 12k,i said without the bills/warranty he\'d be lucky to get 6k. He got the hump with me too..
Think Ill give that one a miss then
been in touch with the fella from the other one and if we can negotiate a good price then It may well be mine

Well the bargaining chips Im using are:-
1 No MOT
2 Needs setting up with a motec or Apexi (nearest one to me is Hayward Rotary unless I can find the elusive JayDee lol)
3 The engine is unwarranted and of unknown origon
Im hoping to factor in the cost of a rebuild into my current budget which is about 6K for the right car

i was standing not far from you most of the day! i was with james (smiler) and the rest of the lads. tbh we ended up slating him a bit but that was because of him being ****ey after asking our advice. lol more him than the car. oh i do love pod and the chavs she brings
Iv got auction pics of that car somewhere...i think it sold for £7k or £8k in japland iirc
It looks well, but I wouldn\'t claim it to be a veilside show car just because it has their front end etc... Maybe when he bought it thats what the seller told him which is fair enough, but I\'d say unless you have a letter from Veilside confirming it is a showcar built by them then it probably isn\'t. Its a shame you can get so much car for so little these days! I hope they start to go up in value soon!! :(
Was offered this car in Japan at auctions and as Rix says it sold for about 7-8K there so prob close to 10K landed here ?? ;)

That was my mates old car, he swapped it with someone on ebay for a subaru last year. Shame he hasnt decided to keep it as it was a real nice car in the flesh ( i helped put that \'new\' engine in which was a hell of a lot easier than i expected :Thumbs-up )

LOL @ whaleside! Not my favourite bodykit maker would be an understatement. Horrible things.
