Now it sounds like a sports car should :Giggle
I\'d consider one if it had the rotary power plant for sure :god
Wow! that car looks great (except the rear lights) i\'d love one!
Good ol Kazama with his arm out the roof! :Laugh
thats kinda cool :D
I\'m gonna shop the BMW for a MX-5, would love to do that to it.
How difficult would it be to fit a NA rotary in an MX-5 I wonder?
Its dead easy to do. We have looked at and are still considering doing one for sprinting. It all depends on how light we can get the thing down to. 700kg would be the aim but thats a big ask
im not sure about his front lights blinking either but it does sound the nuts!
The subframe has to either be drastically altered or changed, but anything can be done.
In the states there are rotary turbo conversions done with 300hp,in a car that light they must be serious fun!

Carl
I\'ve also heard from mates in NZ that have done it that it\'s an easy conversion (read backyard). Aparently parts from a 1st gen RX-7 come in handy!
We are doing one at the moment. Certainly wouldnt say its an easy conversion. We are looking at 500+hpo though.
