Got a standard front bumper fitted to replace the old battered apexi and some feed style carbon side skirts, i think it looks so much better :D

that looks extremely nice !! ..

I guess they\'re Rota GTR\'s ? .. 9.5j on the rears and 8.5\'s on the front ? .. could i ask (slightly off topic) do you think you could fit 9.5\'s on both the front and rear ? .. tis just that i like the deep dish look of the 9.5\'s.

thanks, and yeh ive got the rota GTR\'s, you probably can get the 9.5\'s on the front but would be a very tight fit and mine touch the plastic arch lining on full lock with the 8.5\'s, if your car is standard ride height might not be too bad mines lowered 40mm

im thinking of rolling the inner arch lip out of the way and removing the liners so hopefully should work.

Lovely looking car though. :god

Very nice!  What offsets are you running?

Post by: brooksie on July 16, 2007, 02:23:11 PM
i think the rota\'s are et+30 .. ie decent offsets that actually fill the arches rather than weak as hell "comer van" look wheels :D

That is nice and subtle,   could you wrap the front splitter in carbon effect stuff to match the skirts, that would look good if it was done nicely

Post by: chrisJDM on July 16, 2007, 10:25:24 PM
yeh i was thinking that it would look really good in carbon to match the skirts, i would ahveot get proper carbon thou i think it would look tacky if i tried to cover it in some sort of carbon effect.

Thanks for all the comments, i think the standard bumper and skirts have made such a difference, i think for some reason the skirts emphasise the wheels realy well.

mazda bait - Yeh i got the spoiler for a really good price :Laugh actually mate i did see your car up at japshow, lookin good mate, i would have said hello but didnt see you about

rs125 - I got the skirts from Bulla, they are FEED replicas, not real FEED but exactly the same and real carbon, i think he got them from shineautoproject in the US.  If you go on //www.rx7club.com they are on there as a vendor, they do some great stuff

oh and heres a pic of what it looked like before the recent work

it looks good as its now all in proportion!

if you had some aggressive side skirts with that old front bumper it would have looked good too.

you have similar rims to me. i wish i could have had them - i didnt buy the rotas as one of mates already has them on his mint 200sx!
