Title: Rear window arial amplification?
Post by: nikp on July 11, 2007, 10:32:44 AM
I have had the electric arial removed from my car, and where I thought the arial was coming from the rear heated screen I thought it would be ok. But ever since then, the radio reception has been pretty dreadful, and close to non existent.

Can anyone suggest anything to remedy this? Perhaps an amplifier for the heated screen arial?

Got no reception on mine after flusing the ariel over fella.  My only thought was to buy a digital ariel (stick on front windscreen) and upgrade.  Costs a few quid tho!

you can get an amplified internal ariel from maystar through your local auto electrical dealer which sticks inside any glass for around £20 quid and will go direct to the set, work great and easy fit.
