Aren\'t there two different engines in the pics - top one could be a tubby II with non standard intercooler - bottom one looks like and EGI lump?

Still going to sound nice though !

Scrap that - I\'ve had a look at the top pic again - it\'s the EGI lump.  Is that a rad on top then ?

hi every 1! this is my little project and just to answer a few little things,,the carpet was free at the time and beats just aconcrete floor,,lol,, on top is a toyota celica gt4 intercooler ok, yes its got a turbo t3 i think? i custom made the manifold for it so it would fitt, the engine is from 2nd gen injection set up, non turbo at the time, i have for it a new fcd, new remaped ecu hks f-con unit, turbo timer, hks dumpvalve, twin mushroom air induction kitt, the rear axle is from a seaira cosworth limited slip diff, 17" rims on the back, 15" on the front, soon to have lambo style doors, etc,  loads to do yet but very soon i will have it running, if any 1 is close to birmingham uk and wants to have a closer look just say, hi, i want to see it, im fine with showing you a close up,, im doing this purely because i want to!! and for the love of it,, i like mini\'s but love rx7\'s!! lol,, keep the straight lines fast and the corners a^drift!! joker paul..... tc all

thing with carpet in the garage - it acts like a big sponge :( and soaks up anthing you spill

or if your garage isnt 100% water tight - again same prob

i have carpet in mine for years and was really suprised when i ripped it all out - it was really soaked :(

well ive been collecting bits n bobs for it a while now, about 4 yrs on and off started with nothing but a mini shell , no garage or tools, then got the rx7 donor, built me garage and slowly started from there but i got more done last year than the 2 yrs put together, my aim is to have it running by the end of september, and on the road next year, i still need matchng set of rims, lambo door hindges, nos, drive shaft end changing, wireing loom to go in, clocks dash, seats, interior, sort steering out, pedel box, brakes, fuel line, fuel tank , and other odd n sods etc, lol,, hhhmm quite abit it think, lol.
so to have it ticking over by the end of september is pushing it a bit,lol
any other questions?
