Title: No Boost at all.
Post by: Cashpoint on July 07, 2007, 02:19:37 PM
Took the car out for a run last night as it\'s been sat in the garage for teh past 2 weeks. All was fine happliy boosting as it should then just driving normaly i could hear a whooshing noise as it approched + boost. but as I was on the way home thought nothing of it as i was letting it all cool down.

Took the car out this morning and the whooshing noise is still there but no boost. both my boost guage and boost controller show go up to 0.00 boost and stay.

I\'ve checked the hoses but don\'t know if I checked all of them or where they all are. Are the any doc shoing all the pipes?

Also where\'s the closest RX7 specialist, I have a Mazda dealer near by but would prefer a specialist to look at the car. I\'m in Hertfordshire Hemel Hempstead.

I want the :3gears-lhback.

Hi bud, sounds like an intercooler pipr has come loose or a clamp has come of 1 o them, have a check, sure it sounds like that as it happened to me :)

That happened to me, turned out it was the y-pipe connectors. HTH

Boost is back! After spending an hour checking the hoses with no luck. Got brother to rev the car and found a hole in the bottom of one of the Intercooler pipe before the clamp that i hadn\'t found as the pipe was attached.

So THE BOOST IS BACK :burnout

As it helped solve my problem I thought i\'d post the diagram I found that shows the [FONT="]vacuum (that really doesn\'t look like the right spelling) hoses in all their glory. Only wish they were colour coded on the car as in the diagram
