Any help would be great
:mmmm
Cheers guys and girls
long time no speak
its knows as a TPS and sits at the front of the engine ( just infront or underneath the IC - i think )
you should be able to get one off someone who is breaking one pretty easy
im shocked that they picked it up on a service though - must have been VERY thorough
well stu-it went into a mazda dealer local to me....and told them the throttle was varying up and down and occassionally stalling!!!
pm us ure number dude-could do with a catch up chat!!
cheers-any more help would be good really-i need to source one of these asap really......
be prepared for it not to be the TPS, it maybe your BACV which is faulty, both are easy to change and dirt cheap from RX motors or the like
well ive been told that its defo this part by mazda-and so far been quoted 345 bills for the replacement part!!!!
it should be about £30 from Tim but i dont quote me on that. Also, ask your mazda dealer how often they work on 2nd gen mazda\'s? i wouldnt trust a mazda dealer with mine.
wheres this tim chap?
thanks
The TPS might just need adjusting - is it hunting up and down on warmup - around about 1500 RPM ?
Settling down once it\'s warmed up ?
The adjustment is fairly straightforward with a multimeter - I\'ll see if I can find the instructions - they may even be on the site here somewhere.:Typing
colin - shoot me an email - its in my sig
