Title: Boost controller
Post by: rossgal on July 03, 2007, 12:18:13 PM
Hi, I have bought a universal type electronic boost controller for my 1993 RX. Can someone help in as to where the control solenoid should be fitted? And where the pipe for the guage should go? Many thanks for any help.

The solenoid can go anywhere you like. Try and keep it away from too much heat, and dirt ingress. And as close to the area where it\'s being spliced into is probably best.

If im understanding you correctly then your wanting toknow where to tap the hose onto.
If this is the case then you can connect it to the nipple on the left (looking from the front of the car) of the UIM.
If there is already a hose on there then just put a T piece on there.
