Title: Rear Tyres
Post by: jetpilot on January 29, 2004, 08:10:26 PM
Hi Guys, i have a set of 9.5" rears, what would be a sensible size to go for on these, or shall i stick to the original 255\'s, they are 17" by the way. I was thinking of 265\'s or even 275\'s, could do with some advise on profiles if either of these are recommended.

Follow the link to an excel spreadsheet that will allow you to play with tyre sizes.

Thanks guys, have had a look at these sites and they are a great help. I was more wandering what i could actual get under the arches, i.e am i limited to the width because of possible rubbing etc. What do people recommend.

I would stick with the 255\'s. They fill the wheel better than wider tyres, and shouldnt rrub the arches.
