Dont worry about the mpg,if your looking to get 600bhp out of a rex,it aint going to be your daily driver, especially not in this weather:wave

As stated before I really think that would be the least of your worries.

We used to run a 650hp 300ZX, which would see about 85-100 miles from a full tank (mixed driving).  It used to average about 7-8 mpg, you could get about 12-15 with mainly motorway miles, but I would never trust running it too far from home as it used to eat gearbox\'s (it was an auto).

In all honesty it wasnt the most useable car in the world, which was one of the reasons for selling.  From personal experience, cars of these size (300ZX/RX7/SUPRA) run nicely around the 400-450bhp mark.....  Unless it\'s going to be a full time track machine?

I\'m running what\'s probably a 400bhp FD (Running 1 bar on a GT35R turbo) and it\'s very drivable, capable and quick. MPG\'s aint too bad either.

I run 400 on low 480 high (was 505 before waste gate plumbing) on a daily in all weather and it\'s not a problem. I enjoy the wet weather a lot more sometimes as quiet roads become more fun at lower speeds. It\'s pi55ing down outside right now and I am bl00dy excited about getting out in it today.

MPG is 10 - 12 which is the only thing about my car which annoys me so would imagine 600 bieng single figures?

The difference in all round driveability is night and day between a 400-500hp car and one with much more. You can put together a 450hp car without sacrificing that much, and hopefully not breaking too much that quickly. 600hp and fuel economy will be the least of your problems!

I average around 8 mpg on the road running 1 bar and 500 fw bhp. If I was to run 600bhp it would be stunningly expensive as I wont risk running that boost without race gas at around £3.50 per litre. :)

my mates evo is 700bhp and just runs on high octane petrol v-power or bp ultimate ect uses the car all the time, have to put about 100quid in it to get from chester to esses about 200miles so its not bad on fuel on a run

The thing is though, the Evo doesnt have a rotary engine, where just a tiny bit of detonation can be disastrous.

why would you want soo much power on the road

everyone i know ith big power always runs on low boost or even off the waist gate.

its pointless untill you get to the raceway or track
