Title: What Colour shal I paint my new MS01\'s???

I have just bought a set of Mazdaspeed MS01\'s for my FC, they were on ebay at i got them for £104 so i couldnt resist.  The add said the tyres were shot bu the fronts are semi slicks with at least one track left in them, the rears are Eagle F1 with about a 1000 miles left. They have all four complete centre caps and they are straight, in fact only one has a little bit of curb rash, the others are untouched, its just the paint and laquer thats coming off.

Just tried them as i wasnt sure if they would fit as my bigger brakes on the front stick out a lot and hit on my original set of wheels.  The ones i have now fit well but the front sticks a little too much a hits the arch if i lower it too much.  The new ones fit really well and clear my brakes with no spacers required and the offset is perfect even though they are 81/2 fronts and 9 1/2 rears  :eek .  

I am going to have a go at refurbing them myself and although gold centres is original i fancy leaving the lip polishd and painting the centres satin black like my current wheels.

I think red centres will look a little OTT and gold doesnt really go on a red car.  They look a little bland all in silver for my taste and it doesnt do the wheel justice.

Any ideas or piccys would be appreciated

Paint them black with red pin strips about 5mm in on each spoke.

Red car and gold wheels is very 70\'s Ferrari racing car though....

I\'ll get you some pics of mine I refurbished themtoo, get someone to sandblast the gold of its a right pain to remove.

i think i\'m gonna go satin black centres and polished rims..   wont be for a while yet though

Nar Black is a bit played out, i\'d say more of a Grahpite colour or silver (well you don\'t see MS01\'s with silver centers and i think they look well)

i got the same wheels and the same dilema... but mine are on a black FD..
