Hi all, going from 2nd to 3rd gear, doing about 30 and the car started missing very badly. Its not smoking and the engine sounds fine but missing very bad. Changed the plugs and the leads are quite new, but it s no different.Any idea.

The Part that your ignition leads are connected to, not the spark plug end !!

Check all vac hoses just in case..

Does it have a boost gauge? If so, when it idles, does the boost \'bounce\' about? Or is it static?

Also, check the vac line going to the MAP sensor, the one way valve there and the wiring.
