I got blitz dump valve today and fitted it but it doesn\'t make any more noise than the standered one:( it is opening all the way its just really quirt does anyone know why this is? could it be opening too much?

Yeah it may open too much.
You should have an adjuster screw, can tighten the spring.

i have been out a tughtened it up and it is much better but it is still standered sounding, is it ment to be or should it have a high pitch to it?
should sound quite loud when you are out and come off boost.
Take a pic of how you fitted it, then we might be able to help more.
Sounds like it was fitted wrong mate? Is it dumping any air? You should be able to simply rev it in neutral.
Hold your hand over it while you rev it.
yeah it is dumping but its not very loud at all. i though it was ment to make a loud churping noise but it just make the samr noise as the standered one
post a few pics up bud, might be wired up wrong? should be quite loud bein a blitz one.. my starlet turbo one was a nitemare lol
Yeah.. the blitz should be a loud wooooosh type sound, not a chirp.
i blitz i had was more a phhistt flutter noise..

You prolly already know but Rember you cant build proper boost untill you have load on the car, so you cant make it sound very easily whilst it not moving on your drive.
Oh and be carefull how tight you make it as a friend of mine sllmost shut his off compeatly and his turbo poped, it was a cheap ebay one though.
My HKS one chirps then whoooshes.
Squirt a little WD40 into it, lubricates it when new before the oil particles in the air lubricate after some use.
Don\'t tighten it too much, then go out for a burn with your window open, you\'ll know if it\'s working OK, mine makes a definitive Pishshshshttttt noise.

Should be loud yeah, i have a Baileys D/V on mine and is very loud.
You should be able to hear it dumping even if you blip the throttle in neutral (obv after the engine has warmed up to be safe) :)
