Yesterday on the way to Santa Pod I had a few odd things happening with my Rex... it cut out a few times on idle and once when I pushed my clutch down coming to a stop. When I re-started the car the boost reading\'s showed some really weird readings like 1.19 or 1.02 bar just from starting up :confused: It only did this a few times and on the way back home when I started it up, the boost readings were normal e.g. vacuum levels. What could the reason for this be?
Are the readings from a PFC or boost guage?
i would say duff boost gauge as u wld have to be under boost to achieve those readings..what make is the gauge
sorry guys forgot to add the reading was taken from the Apexi Commander - the last highest reading function on the commander
The only things I can think of are a dodgy electrical connection or sensor, or the little filter thing in the line between the map sensor and the manifold being blocked and holding pressure sometimes. It\'s wild speculation, but hth anyway.
