Many thanks to the owners who brought 35+cars to the MRC stand who not only didn\'t whimp out because of a little! bit of wet weather but stayed in the vain hope that the day just may have cleared up and put on a real good show for the club,

Heroes one and all, thankyou.

We\'d have loved to have come, looked at the window at 6am and it was a monsoon - not much better by 8am, then got steadily worse :(  By the time it had started to clear it wasnt worth making the run :(

Hope every body had a good, if wet time! :wave

when I woke up at 6am it was raining and I seriously had doubts whether I was going to go, but I\'m really glad I went as it was a really enjoyable day even though the weather was rubbish :Grrr

My car spent most of the day Sunday in the warm up lane - we nearly got running twice, but they just had to let the lame jet car take a run first - doh.

I really should have gone to play on Saturday - hey ho - it\'s how it happens.

Let\'s hope RSIV is a bit brighter then ! :Thumbs-up

good day, would have been probably the biggest and best event even had it not been for the weather but that cant be helped so the potential alone was great.

thanks to those who didnt whimp out x2

good to see a rotary turnout for once it seemed like a proper prescence :)

It was good to see so many RX\'s! And meet Nas, Gurj, Steve and Clive :D

Shame I got there late so didn\'t see anything run and then loaded up my wheels just in time for it to be cancelled for the day and hence just get stuck for an hour getting out!

Lol, that\'s how it\'s done! :Giggle

I gave it a miss because I like to see some good racing as well, so as money is silly tight at the moment thought I would save the £70 towards some paint! :Giggle (it\'s needed! :2eek )

Someone said today that if the Pod\'s a wash out with cars running your tickets are valid for free entry next time.

Anyone know if this is right.

Or did running the jet car get them off the hook?

Did anyone else see the boys in blue parked and pulling in the lane on the way out.

Wonder why they were there, in the rain, on a Sunday, well off the main road.........mmmmmmmmmmm.

Shame they couldn\'t find better things to do to get their figures up.

probably there to stop people driving like idiots on the way out of Santa Pod ... I\'ve seen some sort of police activity every time I\'ve been to a big meeting at Santa Pod ... not just Jap meetings either.

Hi

We got there with a South East convoy, we stayed till about 1pm and drove back in the rain to London in some very serious traffic...shame about the weather, it was such a good turn out of rexes...potentaly best one ever, .still, we had a good time !!

Lisa was wearing my girlfriend\'s spare winter coat - she looked frozen...my hat off to the MRC first lady!!!!

Regards,
Michaelb

There was an accident between a Type R civic and a saxo or ford - can\'t remember other than it was a eurobox loaded with chav\'s - they had evidently run into the back of the Honda.  When we went passed they were just directing people around it.

They sit just before the 30 limit if you come through Irchester (where i got my 3 points) they get most people coming in that way and as the b road was shut most the traffic was diverted thought it, i drive that road every day and its very hard slowing down to 30 when you see a straight road ahead

well done to everyone that showed up! tried blagging everyone in my phone book to show up!! gurj it was well worth the petrol down mate, you had an umbrella ela ela eh eh eh so at least you was dry.

it was nice seein you lot again. I wont be making it to rotorstock this year as im goin away to Pak and then Dubai.... so im pretty gutted about missing rotorstock going fishing in pak and visiting mates there, and then dubai on the way home instead of mixing it with you rotor peeps.. haha

Took us a couple of hours to drive down from sunny doncaster, took us five hours to get home tho.  you should have seen the traffic it was nuts. there was that guy who had the crash on the way out, (haha one less ****ter on our roads) and then there was a big crash halfway home someone had the roof cut off thier 07 golf! then saw some numpty about three cars ahead fail to realise everyone was stopping and then try to avoid going into back of someone, he ended up hitting someone to the side of him! then got stuck in the traffic leaving donnington raceway. meh, took forever.

still tho well worth the fuel money..

Just had an email from the Pod, Weekend or Sunday tickets are worth £6 off your next ticket purchase until June 2008 - so keep hold of them!

i really dont like the fact that they have been crafty and changed thier mind! really annoys me.

on the day they said to everyone full price swap, the next day my gf rang them to check how etc and they said as there was some entertainment it was 6. the entertainment was provided by third parties and i dont fancy paying thousands to terry grant.

i know they tried but no track.

tbh im not annoyed that they are saying £6 as its good of them and i can understand it just very annoyed that all the officials said full refund.
