I was wondering what spoilers everyone has on their cars. ive been looking at the panspeed wing Im not 100% positive. Over here in the u.s. alot of the rx7 owners jump down your throat if you have a gt style wing on your car if its a road car, they dont understand that sometimes it works with the styling of the car. Im going for the full gtc look, carbon scoot hood, wide rear fenders, and possibly re rear diffuser. I just cant decide on wing, any suggestions or pics would help.

Here\'s mine, it\'s a Cusco unit whch is being removed this week and put back to the standard unit until I decide which one to replace it with.

Well basically what it comes down to is that I just bought a full authentic mazdaspeed gtc kit, minus the wing because they didnt have it. Ive been looking at other wings to put on because of the extremely high cost of the gtc wing. Most of the people in the area that I have been discussing this wing are telling me to only get the gtc because of the wind tunnel testing that mazda did with the kit and wing combined. They keep telling me that any other wing would be "rice" add on and not function properly. So what would you do, buy one thats the same style for cheaper, buy the gtc, or buy any kind, and what difference at all do you think it could make. Im pushing over 500rwhp and intend to do both drag racing and some road events, as well as entering local and state car shows to display the beauty of the 7.

I agree. I was going for the jgtc style car. So I was looking for more of an impressive type spoiler and the gtc seems too low for that.

The GTC kit would be nicely balanced.
Fitting a big GT wing. Will have a negative imact on TOP speed.
And If you dont compensate at the front you might have some balance p[roblems at the track.
I ran mine at full attack angle and the front of the car gets very light above 100kph. Not fast at all.
you would need to fit a front splitter and or run canards If you want to get a nicely balanced car,
I would also recommend fitting heavier rear springs also.

yeah I think yer right. I was having this arguement when I first got my car with my brother, I was sure it was Amemiya. Looking at the pics from Amemiya looks identical... got RMagic stickers on it too, so they did something to it at some point I think too :confused:

Used to have a rear wiper Gavin, had all the car smoothed when the kit and respray was done (no reflectors/wing indicators either)

Gavin you live in scotland that is reason enough for having a rear wiper.
The jury is out on the whole no spoiler thing for me... I think the FD needs something on the tail to breakup the big back end. But I do like the look of no spoiler from some angles.

Have to disagree on the whole "no back wing" issue, i think the rx\'s were made to stand out and thats what the wing adds to the car.
From the side angles fin-less looks cool but from the rear no so sure, one of my main concerns when buying my rx was the rear wing.
Have to say the blue rx is very nice though, i think it was chris\'s:bandit

Thanks for the all photos guys, the cars do look beautiful. Ill post new pictures of mine when its done, which i expect to be in about a month. Too much $$$ needs to be spent, so its taking a while. Im just had to please with this car I guess. I was never this way with my supra, or 300zx

I have removed my Cusco GT spoiler today, and fitted the OE low level wing for the time being. I have to admin that I keep looking at the Feed unit and it gets more tempting by the minute.

The first time I saw the Feed wing. I wanted it. But, back then it cost between 1500-2000 US$. About a year later, Chuck (Rotary Extreme) made his run of 10 or so wings at half that price... that I couldn\'t pass it up. http://www.rotaryextreme.com/typef.html
