Title: Numberplates
Post by: FEED Rocket on June 22, 2007, 12:35:53 PM
I\'ve recently purchased an RX7 and i was wondering where is the best and most legal position to fix the front numberplate without it sticking out like a sore d**k at a brothel?

Looks like the bracket that you have on the car at the moment is blocking an intake, but it should be ideal if you turn it the other way up and fit a 3/4 size number plate to it.

Dude, you are a legend. Is your car the blue one from newera sold list? The Type-R? Also, where did you get your plates from? What FEED parts are on your car?

Nope, I bought mine from Newera back in 2003, their current sold list doesn\'t go back that far any more, mine is an RS with a custom paint job.

Got the plates from http://www.demonplates.com/  Real easy and has import car sizes :)

I\'ve got all the info on my car already on the forum, but it\'s in the members only section, think about joining as this club has been a major factor in being able to understand my RX better.  Check out the benefits here: - http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32272

As for the FEED stuff on my car I have: -
Engine brace.
Cabin brace.
Anti-roll bars.
Solid diff mounts.
Solid engine mounts.
AST.
Type II R front bumper with FEED spec front sidelights.
Carbon-fiber look door handles.
Wide arch front wings.
Carbon fibre side skirts.
Wide rear arches.
Carbon fibre scuffplates.
Oh and a FEED car cover.

Wow, thats some pretty awesome kit. I love the wide arches, gotta get me some of those after the RE rear diffuser. I\'m definately gonna join the club when i get hold of my card from the missus :2Rolleyes. As for the plates, i\'ll purchase those when the car is fully registered over here. Bought the car cover too, definately a must buy! Thanks again for the info matey!

I think the car cover is a bit lightweight for outdoor use, but it is perfect for keeping the car snug in the garage :)

I wouldn\'t be able to sleep at night if my car wasn\'t in a garage - but that\'s just me.  I\'ve seen to much stuff that would mean I would never risk it - hell, I don\'t like going anyway unless safe, secure car parking is assured.  Paranoid you say?  Yep, that\'s me.
