Title: Midpipe question
Post by: toyzRus on June 22, 2007, 09:20:48 AM
Is the PowerFC enought to keep the boost safe if i change my cat to a decat midpipe? Or will it go lean and boost spike?

Mine is standard apart from a decat, I\'ve just changed to a PFC on base map and it runs very smooth.

From memory the PFC cant control boost creap and spike caused by decating the zorst, the pfc is maped for a certain boost v revs so if your boost creeps or spikes above the map v revs then the pfc cant remap itself and add more fuel, you need to add a boost controler or zorst pills to eliminate the chances of it happening.

Get a boost controler.

I used to run a HKS down pipe and an unsilenced mid pipe with the pfc and I never got any boost creeps or spikes

Not everyone duz but if you do then pop.
