I\'m pretty sure rev limiters and RX7\'s are a no-no

There is a rev limiter already on a stock ECU and Apexi Power FC

when you lower the rev limiter to do your pop bang flame show you shorten the life of your turbos due to unburnt fuel, personally wouldnt fit this

what happens when the rev limiter is reached on the apexi? e.g., if you\'re pushing the car hard and you hit the limiter on the apexi will it damage anything? does the fuel or ignition get cut ?

it cuts fuel completely I believe so there should not be any lean condition so no unburnt fuel so I am pretty sure this is the case with FDs

the bee r limiter cuts the spark. and the apexi cuts the fuel. surely cutting the fuel would couse more of a lean condition than cutting the spark??? by cutting the spark you get a load of fuel dumped in.

you must have mis read my post I said the Apexi cuts fuel "completely" NO fuel is injected therefore NO burn and NO lean condition and no fuel gets exploded in the hot cast exhaust  manifold

but by no fuel being injected into the engine surely this would have to couse a bit of a lean mixture?  if the fuel is stoped and the engine is still spinning that would be lean. right??
