Hi Lee

When you used them did you put down the £500 deposit they were aksin 4 just spoke to one of there sister companies down in essex and i must admit she did seem very friendly and will do what you ask them to.

Did you actually bid on a car using them or even better has anyone ever brought a car through them. Probally going to use bonsai cars again as he was pretty good last time but just looking to see whats about.

Bna_ellis what site do u use to get your car\'s though im not lookin at setting up an import business to rival you just want to import one myself again like i did last time.

The way i did this before was by viewing the cars that are at the actual auction via a website so would like to do this again rather then tell someone what im after and they see if they can find it as i do like seeing something and thinking that will do me nicely.

Thanks

Mark

Mark,

I never placed a bid or put down a deposit, but I did email them a couple of times with question and queries and they were always quick and helpful in getting back to me.

I did find that many of the cars were also on the Bonsai site, and that Bonsai was a bit more use friendly.  I think ISIBIKE is more geared up towards traders than Bonsai.

I have never used isibike but I do know that their cars have a 100,000 higher starting price than what is listed at the auction site. Maybe this is because it includes their commission? Other than that I know they seem to be a good company. I do not know of a company that does not require 100,000 yen deposit first. I have viewing of cars via different companies although I only tend to buy through one due to be good friends with someone that works there.

I wouldn\'t bother with that white one you showed interest in it\'s another damage repaired car forsale. I\'ve seen a pic of it earlier at the auction hall. Grade 0 jobby it\'s been resprayed in white it\'s not the original colour & mileage is probably alot higher has it has aftermarket speedo gauges.

no i dont think i will just had another look at it and it does look more hassle then it\'s worth as the alloy\'s looked all knackered too. do want a cheap do\'er upper though but not that badly done. The main thing im after is diff front bumper, spoiler, wheel, suspension, and thats about it. will look at the auctions tonight and see whats going on. from what i remember friday auctions used to have the most modded cars on is that still the case.

Not  particulary it\'s spread throughout really. You might wanna give mark a call as he has a few fd\'s in stock at the mo I know one of them should be pretty quick with same front end as the white one. has ecu intercooler etc etc I know because I bidded on the car and was out gunned then when I was at bonsai recently I saw it there.

it seems all his cars are even the red one looks a bit dubiuos as didn\'t you give him a roasting about the first one he advertised i think he says there from a dealer making out they weren\'t from auction and then brian or someone else say they have seen them go through the other day as damaged repaired.

as his car is obviously not what it claims to be perhaps this should be removed

Yeah I know it\'s a kind of ongoing discussion in memebers section.
The silver one advertised had a very big whack, seller has a with words like Mr Blair. Glen has spoken to him already but he seems to of forgotten  the procedure already.
The car at Bonsai I believe is a 92 red with GT rear spoiler.

Just spoke to them cheers brian seems it has popped an engine if it the one he told me about pulled it off the boat and loads of white smoke not good so there going to get it rebuilt and give a warranty on it.

So could well be a good buy for someone.

Thats true but thats where its going to stay untill we have a route of action.  We are aware of the issues, and are making people aware that the cars arnt quite as they seem.

It doest take long to realise they are a little on the dodgy side imho, and also I think you would be a brave man to purchase from someone in Japan who clearly doesnt own the parts and cars they are selling.

Cheers

Regarding the members section, then to have access you need to be a full club member (paying).

On the this subject, then most of the important information (ie that they are accident damaged) has now been posted on the two threads selling cars now even if the seller denies this is the case.

Hi Guys,

What are the the links to these auction websites? if you don;t mind me asking:) I\'m after a cheap FD for a project, so anything with a reasonably clean shell and a blown or high mileage (soon in need of a rebuild) engine would be ideal. And if anyone knows of one or can get hold of one for me, that would be even better :bandit ;)

Cheers, Paul:)

Have you bought from Bonsai before? I may have to give Jason a ring, although i was looking at getting one ideally in a couple of months time as i have two clio Williams to fix over the next month or so:(

Kind Regards,

Paul:)

Just browsing through. This company also seems to be sourcing auction cars. Cars are uploaded 1pm each day.

http://161.58.248.88/556.htm

Seem to ask for a deposit but when I visited their offices. That didnt seem to be the case, anylonger anyway.
