Finally got it out!! :)

The only real problem was the Downpipe!! I don\'t know if it was just because mine is a Uk car with pre-cat, but there was no way it was getting past the gearbox!!

We had to take the dp off while the engine was in mid-air.

I would also not recommend hiring a HSS hoist! The thing is unsafe. On a flat surface one leg is off the ground! The thing wanted to topple with the wieght of the engine!! I had to get my step father to stand on the side of the hoist to stop it toppling!!

I\'m gona complain and kick up a stink and see what I can get out of them. :)

Now I have to swap the bits from one block to the other and get it back in. :D

PS : this was done in the pouring rain!!!

Well done, a tricky job in difficult weather conditions.

Good luck with the changeover and refit.

You can put the dp on/off with engine in easily? Cool.. will give that a bash.

Also, will be cutting the pipes off, to avoid breaking anything.

Gonna make a start at swapping it all over tomorrow morning. Well, as long as it\'s half decent outside!

It\'s all going not too bad just now. Dunno if I\'m still on track for putting it in Thursday though. Hopefully the weather will hold off.

Oh and whilst your there check all those check valves and selonoids, i had 1 bad solonoid and 2 bad check valves but i thought my car ran fine, changed em and the car ran better.

Dale clark sells viton check valves for about £22 for 6 deliverd to the UK and they arrive within 4 days, Mazdas check valves are £42-£67 each.

Well, I\'m gonna do this and then slap it back together. I won\'t be boosting it until Apexi PFC is remapped anyway. Pip will be doing that, so he can sort out any boost probs at the same time. :D
