could be tricky getting those studs out mate, are you going to try?or send it back?
good luck
Bob
Take that to an engineer. They will remove and rethread. last thing you want is a boost leak when they go it.
Cheers
James
checking over the rest of the tubs they seem alright but jeez !! Such f***ing idiots. im really peeved :reallymad
Get it repaired and send the bill to the shipping company. As you said its the last thing you want!!
Thats bad luck mate. I\'m sure an engineer could sort it though.
They wont accept a bill I wouldn\'t of thought. This is why they insist on value and insurance etc. It\'ll go throught the insurance company process ? A right fart around.
The thing is i dont know at which point the drop happened so im sure EMS and parcelforce will try blaming each other and not want the responsibility think i\'ll give parcelforce a call first as its easiest
unless u declared the full value on the insurance they wont give u a dime..most people fudge the value to get away with the duty and vat but the downside is when it goes missing or gets damaged..did u declare the full value as they might come after u for duty and vat
crescent always declare at the full price you payed for it lol
Plus parcelforce take forever to get in contact with you, then they charge you even more just to charge you duty !!! Hate the way the work at the minute, can\'t get anything quickly because of these idiots.
If you signed for it there isn\'t much you can do, I had an exhaust trashed by a company and the seller had to do some serious wrangling to get them to admit to there mishandling.
Was that turbo boxed properly, must have been dropped from a decent height to cause that !
Shaun
sorry to hear that mate im sure you could get that done no trouble. i\'ve had something similar done before with the correct equipment and knowledge its easy and shouldnt cost you much, a few quid perhaps.
Years ago I worked in a Parcelforce sorting warehouse. There were large cages about 7 feet high with a door on front one for each postcode area. When the delivery lorries came in, instead of opening the cage door and stacking the parcels up, they were thrown over the top! Even boxes marked fragile were thrown! Hearing things smash was quite common.
