Post by: LRP on June 06, 2007, 11:16:12 PM
finially got round to finishing fitting my single stage water injection kit tonite and went out to test it and it comes in to early i think??
It appears to be making it hold back just reading instructions like you do when all else fails:Hammer  and it says as standard the vacum switch is set to 10 psi didnt know it was adjustable ?? found theres a little allen key in the switch which way do you wind it to bring it in later and how is best to set it up ??

I wired a LED into mine so i could see when it was operating then adjusted to suit reading the boost pressure as it switched in. From memory you screw in the allen stud to increase the set pressure.

Turn it clockwise for it to come on later.  It has a very small spring inside the switch so as you turn it will become harder for the switch inside to triger the pump..i hope it helps.  I test it with the hose sticking out the bonnet and go on a motorway or A road and dive in 5th gear ad put your foot down; the car will be on full boost low down rpm and you will be able to see at what boost the water is comming on.
