Title: Stock FD overfuelling
Post by: robedwards99 on June 05, 2007, 05:12:22 PM
The last time I had my car on the rollers it was overfuelling.... a lot.

It seems to be drinkning fuel like no tomorrow and I want to know how to cure it without fitting and aftermarket ECU.

Will putting a different stock ECU in cure it or is there something else that may be causing the problem??

Cheers,
Rob.

Has to be one of the sensors not working correctly I would have guessed - lambda etc?

Hhmmm.

I dunno. I think IIRC when the last MOT was done the Lambda levels were low.. I could have that completely wrong though and it could of been high!! lol

I remember Ant saying that one of the emmision levels was low and the other was high.. no idea which TBH.. it went through the MOT and thats all that mattered at the time!!

Mmmm, I had two different readings for my lambda on my last too mot\'s.

The first one had a lambda of 1.37 and the second of 1.13  (the tolerence is 0.97 to 1.60 - piston cars are 0.97 - 1.03)

Sorry I just dont know! :o

How about an ECU pull as you are all stock or checking any fault codes?
