Post by: Jim_rx7 on June 03, 2007, 10:15:02 PM
Is it advisable to uprate the rad also? Or do people run with stock rad?

the fmic will block alot of air to the rad so is a good idear to increase the size n cooling power of yer radiator, or do alot of ducting..

from what i know stock rads dont seem to be a problem in the early stages of the quest for power,im going single with a t04e and a greddy 3row fmic and i dont think i will have any problems (others have said the same although i will also have a cold thermostat which helps). when i get a bigger turbo though i will definitely uprate the rad

Standard rad should be fine, you are running the same set up I had and I never had any problems with water temps getting to high, and I never even had any ducting.  I say had as Ive just managed to write mine off!!!
