Hi guys was working on the car lastnight in the **** wet rain :Giggle got it all striped down alternate et al down to the point where you remove the 4 screws to get the nest off, the front 2 came of peice of cake - the 2nd two despite useing a socket set with a screw bit and a lot of force it just camed out :o any tips people have to get the screws out at this point? cant seem to get anything around there as theres a fuel line ( i think thats what it is) in the way. and i dont realy think doing the rats nest in situe is the best way
Cheers

well id soak them in wd40 to make them a bit easyer to get out, but dunno about getting at them..
4 screws? i thought they were 10mm bolts. and only 3 of them. then if yu detach the fuel lines, it should come off.
yeah that was the other thing i was considering removing the 3 bolts ontop of it, and pulling the whole nest! so other than the bolts its only those fuel lines that hold the thing in? in for a penny out for a pound now! :wiggle
okay perhaps this is going out of the scope of the orginal post now, but anyway rats nest finished *phew* - ive changed the solenoid (turbo controll) on the rats nest for one that was tested and from a working car. but i still have a boot issue with the 2nd turbo. There is another turbo solenoid above the rats nest, if this one goes faulty would it give the issues im having?perfect boost up to around 4.5k then drop of to nill.
Cheers

I would suggest changing them all along with the check valves... cured my secondary turbo problems!
