Title: Wish me luck!
Post by: probedb on June 01, 2007, 09:10:02 AM
Sunday we\'re going to be putting my engine back in. Been off the road since Sept last year now :(

30k block from Ross @ Dragon instead of the 70/80k block that was in there already. Some polishing done, stainless OMP lines and other jobs done like viton vacuum hosing, all new coolant hoses and stuff :)

Hopefully it\'ll start!

Paul.

Pete, S/S lines came from the states but I believe you can give Goodridge what fittings you need and get some made up.

Robbie, DP and the whole new exhaust is going in too...will get it running on the standard ECU then switch over to the PFC once it\'s all ok. Just need to sort the EGT sensor out.

Good luck Jim!

And cheers everyone else...off to Halfords soon or somewhere else for a longer exhaust manifold stud, the nut doesn\'t quite go all the way on so I figure that\'s why it snapped, all the pressure is in a small area. Everything is all tidied up ready to go....just got to work out where some of the plugs on the wiring loom go!

They\'re the ones that run from the oil metering pump to the block?

Just got to figure out all the bloody connectors, it got taken to pieces that quickly I never got chance to label anything :(
