Been taking my car some slow steady drives just to check all is well...
water temp between 40 - 55
oil temp between 70-85
oil presure lol jumps about all over the place
Oil pressure, cant beleave how crap the original ones are...
I just wanna floor it but im naw risking it lol... have an apexi here with the new base map, the knightsports currently fitted so im not going over 3k :Grrr
Also i cant get vpower here so good old bp optimax.. running as sweet as a nut tho :)
water temp is way too low the engine will still be on cold start enrichment all the time are u sure this is correct temp
yup, well im not on boost so wont get as hot? runs are kinda short also maybe 15-20 miles just incase something happens..

thats still too low water temp shd be reached after about 5-10 mins of driving..where are u getting the water temp reading from
radiator hose just behind the drivers light, removed my a/c and keep the a/c switched on..
have you a thermostat fitted ?

my guess is u are running the cooling fans constant then..this is not a good idea
firstly engine needs to reach operating temp of 80deg ad secondly fans will eventually burn out at an awkward time and pop goes the engine
i`ll do a few runs with them off, let it tick over a bit

surely that shouldnt matter as the thermostat will close to keep the temperature in the block constant. id check to see if you have a stat fitted.
my mrs saxo doesnt have a stat, on the motorway it runs off the cool side of the gauge !
turn aircon off and drive normally give the car a chance to lean out a bit it must be choking the plugs at the moment running with extra fuel being thrown in as ecu thinks car is still cold..if temp gets too high and u get nervous turn fans on but u shouldnt need to unless u have a fmic on a standard set up cooling shd be fine
Oooo k... think iv got a wonky sensor, you cant touch the rad pipes n the gauge says 48, rev it a little n it goes down lol...
the stat will never open at 50deg ad so engine will be running constant enrichment..once car reaches correct operating temp the stat is there to maintain it opening and shutting to keep correct operating temp..there is a thread about not running a stat in a rx7 and the consensus is that u need a stat at all times i think interloper has a faulty temp gauge buy a decent defi u tight git
