Title: Defi Link Display and Water Temp signals
Post by: pintglass on May 29, 2007, 12:35:10 PM
Ok, thought it might be wise to invest in some instrumentation in order to keep an eye on under bonnet matters with the cosmo. I am going Defi Link Display route and, with regards to a water temp signal, is there anything that already exists that I may be able to piggyback off rather than purchasing a blitz type coolant hose with provision for a sender?

Thanks

I think places like Demon Tweeks sell adaptors, just cut the pipe and insert the adaptor for the sensor. I just asked Pip to do mine while it was in for servicing :)

yes, i did a top rad hose cut&splice on my fd, was quick and easy but only get temps after the thermostat opens, not too much of a problem for me though.
