Title: Weird DV noise
Post by: John_Hudson on May 28, 2007, 03:32:30 PM
Ive recently upgraded my IC to a FMIC and ive only had this noise since then.

Anyhoo as im approaching neutral / positive boost and i let off i hear a patter from my Dump valve like its letting off intermittently but in rapid succession ..its hard to explain the noise but im not sure why its doing it, i have the HKS SSQ DV could it possibly be going down the drain?

cheers

John

sounds normal

the valve opens, then pressure is - so closes again, the pressure builds back up so opens, then down etc...

im sitting here trying to vocally recreate the noises and trying to put in to words and it isnt working well...

And yes i do sound like a

if its sounds like a horse blowing thru its nostrils then its the dump valve not opening properly and the air flowing back over the turbo
