Title: Flexible hydraulic clutch hose?
Post by: Crackdown on May 24, 2007, 09:57:33 AM
Firstly hi to everyone, new FD owner here. :WaveBye

Secondly and my main reason for posting: my clutch died a week or so ago and it\'s finally been towed to a local garage to assess the damage - which it turns out is only a split hose apparently - the problem being they say they cannot source the flexi for it anywhere, especially as it\'s an import?

Can anyone please tell me where I can get one (I can\'t seem to find anything on the websites listed here and on google) and if it has to be bodged as it were, what size/type of hose should they be using, where can I get it, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Try and find a Mazda dealer who has a clue what an FD is and they should be able to order u a replacement rubber flexi up np. Otherwise theres a braided one here (http://www.reworx.com/products_clutch_other.htm) if you cant find one from the vendors up top.

Cheers for all the speedy replies, this place is awesome. :King

Anyway, Rotechniks have sourced one and posting it down for saturday (now will be used as a backup) and Pirtek picked up the hose from the garage where it\'s at and going to return the replacemnt shortly so it can be fitted. Top notch service from both!
