Title: Whats the track width of a FD?
Post by: axnutty on May 23, 2007, 09:51:53 PM
Risking the inevitable angry (and possibly deserving) response of USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION, Im going to ask a very NOOB question,

Whats the exact track width of a \'92 FD? Just a lad seems to think hes buying mine but is wondering if it will squeeze on to his trailer OK before he gets here.

I did use the search function BTW - I just coudnt find anything ;)

I would do, but the car is 20 odd miles from me... unless I use a very large tape measure it aint going to be to easy ;) Just thought it might be one of those easy found things in the owners handbook or something?

the measurements in the owners manual might not be any use if you have aftermarket wheels

What trailer is it? Mine will fit on a Brian James tilt bed trailer. if you can find out how wide one of those trailers is compared to your trailer then you\'ll know.
I\'d measure the track on my car, but it \'aint got any wheels on.
Or suspension.

Actually, Just measured it across the body -front arch to front arch and you\'ll need at least 170cm
