Picked up my car from Jason today!!
And what a difference!!! I ant explain how good the engine feels! And how crisply she starts and runs! 2nd turn of the starter motor and she fires into life! Stark contrast then to the previous engine which sort of limped into life!!!
Had a few teething issues with the car and more specifically the wiring loom! But I sent the car down to Jason @ super7autos last week and he swapped out the looms and slapped on a set of new turbos!! To say im ecstatic is a massive understatement!!!
I asked him while he had the engine out, to clean the engine bay…. What ive got back is an engine bay which makes the imperfections in my black spray job stand out a million miles!!! Its like he’s sat there with a toothbrush on every single bit!!! Ill upload some pics in a bit of just how clean the bay is!!! Its spangling and I don’t know how the hell im gonna keep it that way! All in all, I simply cannot fault the guy…he’s bent over backwards to help me with this car and I cant thank him enough! Id definitely recommend him to anyone…the service, price and quality of work is spot on. And its not like he’s slow either!
Id also like to thank Carl Hayward as he too has helped me immensely with the car and has always made hiself available for help and advice…. In this rotary tuning scene where some tuners are looking to screw people over, the attitudes of both of these guys is extremely refreshing and much needed!
Id have no qualms at all about recommending either of these guys!

What about me you cheeky bastid?
Cmon, give me ma props or ill tell them all about your blonde moment with the eccentric shaft! LOL
Please don\'t tell me he built the Engine with the shaft back to front... :Tongue1
no not quite as bad as that! But still highly amusing :)
He\'d been calling me for advice throughout the build on how to remove stuff and put it back on etc, i suggested for the clutch that he put the pressure plate on the trans with the clutch disk, then bolt the PP to the flywheel through the access hole with the engine in situe.
I told him to put one bolt in, turn 180 degrees, put the other in...then go round it bolt by bolt at 180 degrees to each other tightening a couple of turns at a time to avoid warping the PP under tightening.
he phoned me one afternoon asking me how many turns of the front pulley was equal to one turn of the flywheel so he could do the bolts up LOL
I was like er...do you wanna think about that question? what connects the front pulley and the flywheel? haha
lol... well now youve said it , im not gonna give you your props now :) lol
nah i really appreciate your helps as well dude... if i went to mention everyone, then this would just get silly!!!
Michael: a touch too far fromt north london maybe...but then i got there from NW London and its really not too bad.... an hour it takes me now! :)
one2watch :o!
My car is with him ;__; I wanna sit inside it again and listen to music :(
He seemed like a really nice & decent guy though when I saw him LOL... I\'m sure he will look after my car like he did to yours... I wish I had a blank cheque though so I could pay him nicely :O! I\'m sure he deserves every penny & more you paid!
Sounds good,:mmmm when I spoke ot him on the phone he was very helpfull and knowledgeable.
How much did it cost you to have the work done?
I was thinking of having mine have the once over when I pick it up
