Title: Some bad news.....and some good news¬!!
Post by: JTW86 on May 19, 2007, 12:55:22 AM
I recently post\'d on the 3rd Gen bit that i was 100% certian that i would get a Yellow 94 RX7, put in 1G deposit aswell!!

THE BAD NEWS!
Went to the Dealer in Bury to pick up the FD, everything seems alright until we drove it to get some fuel, before even reaching the petrol station (1-2miles away) the coolent started to go haywire! temp guage was also near the redline!!
Phone up the guy and told him what happen\'d, dude tried to fix it with his mechanic who he says he is a Rotary Specialist.
They took it back to the garage to fix! in short,  it was no use; water from the coolent kept ****\'n out from a pipe hose & they couldnt figure out whats wrong with it so there gonna take it to the "Rotary Specialist\'s" brother work shop down in Blackburn (i told him to take it to WGT but the F@@@ER wouldnt!) in the end got full refund.

TOTAL NIGHTMARE I TELL YOU!

THE GOOD NEWS:rollin
I remember my friend knows a person in Manchester(stay\'d a night at me uncles b4 going back up to Scotland) who\'s sale\'n a Drift Spec White FC! Tried to get ahold of him the whole day cos my friend couldnt find his phone number but he email\'d him instead. Finaly got his contact no.
set a time for Friday(18/5/07) to checked out the FC, everything was spot on! so now i got a Drift Spec FC! :Giggle

here a photo of the FC! old pic taken from the previous owner

Well ,I\'m only turn up to see to race day like Sprinting/Hillclimb which I have been doing for 15 years or so with same FC3S.some win class, lots of seconds place, few ftd\'s.:Party
Only rotary car ever completing, which I\'m very proud to fly the rotary flag for long time with sp/esp/bp and now very soon PP allmotor( no hairdry motor)
lots of scottish peoples asking stupid questions like the same old story from old RO80\'s problem e.g "seals don\'t last long" or lack of interesting in Rotary engine :reallymad or it\'s me???.
lots of Aussies and Kiwis always come to see me after I starting the engine
they heard the rotary music was to remain them of homeland and it\'s wonderfully to hear its stories from downunder e.g My brother got a FC
20B/single turbo/1000HP etccccc...:Laugh
But in Scotland, eh!
There is a quote saying"  they don\'t come to you but you got to go to them"
 by the way,When is Grail?

Here is some info for someone who like to join the SS/PHSC

I went to view this car in Manchester and nearly bought it until the wife said NO !!!!!

Its actually very quick through the gears and the only issue i had was the roll cage gave me very little room for anything else, the rest of the car is fine as i had a good look around it, turbo spools very low down too giving it exceptional speed throught the first 3 gears :D

Enjoy the FC mate its a beauty :god
